This picture was taken from the roof of our hotel in Dahab. I planned this picture before setting foot in Egypt. I knew from the stock photos I have sold of Jamaica and Cuba that pictures with turquoise water in seem to sell well. I chose the hotel based on its proximity to this strip of ocean in the red sea. I first saw it on this satellite view from space in google maps.
