Shot Notes

This was taken in the port of Aqaba in Jordan.  The colour of the sea was boosted slightly and I had to do a fair bit of sharpening to bring this beautiful dahabia out the mist.

    You may want to consider showing a thumbnail-ish size picture of the original picture side by side with the layer description. This would show the state of the original image.

    That certainly gives a good idea of the before and after. I expect if
    you want to do an even more detailed tutorial you would show each
    step. That may be a bit much for daily posts though :-)

    Photoshop is more about layers than steps. When I work on images I always keep an untouched copy of the original image on the bottom of the stack. I could mask off each layer like this.
