Shot Notes

The weather has been very kind to us since leaving Melbourne. The forecast keeps predicting rain but we have managed to miss it all so far. After much deliberation we decided to take the windy forest road through the mountains rather than the highway around them. The first challenge came with this fallen tree which was blocking our way. By the time we arrived work had already started on clearing it. In no time two of the locals had carved a path with an axe and a couple of chainsaws which seem to be standard issue for anyone who drives this road regularly  As one of the chainsaw wielding Aussies said “You always flirt with trees on this road”
