Shot Notes
This is Grace Potter on the Mojo stage, who along with her band The Nocturnals, put on an awesome performance tonight at the Byron Bay Bluesfest in New South Wales, Australia. The festival is small enough that we managed to get to the front row for Grace Potter, Eric Bibb and Seth Lakeman today. We hope we are lucky enough to do the same for the headline act, Dave Matthews Band tomorrow.
Excellent shot. Did you need to do any clean-up to deal with the lighting at the venue or do you have a excellent low light lens for gigs?
Thanks. I was using a slow zoom lens. A fast prime lens would be better for low light. However there was more light than your average pub gig. I only needed to increase the ISO to 1000 so there was not much noise. No Photoshop needed to clean-up. Just a few tweaks in Camera RAW to process the digital negative.
