Shot Notes

This bird is a Tawny Frog Mouth Owl. The animal was in a nature park near Melbourne in Victoria, Australia.

To process the image I ran fractalius several times and built up the image with layers and masks.

He reminded me of Sam the Eagle from the muppets

How many times di you run your image through Fractalius? I have been trying to do this with my photo of an owl in flight. Can you share your settings by chance? Thanks in advance. Okiebirdnerd

I ran it through Fractalius about 12 times. I don’t know the settings, I think I just hit the random button until I saw something I could use. Then I experimented with blend modes as I added each layer to see what would happen. Just have fun.
