Shot Notes

This is my submission to VFXY’s weekly theme. This weeks theme is Lights. These are the layers I used to build up the image. The Hue/Saturation layer on top was needed to turn the traffic lights green. The auto white balance in the camera had decided they should be blue. It just shows you cannot always trust a cameras auto settings to get it right.

This is one of those images that inspire me to learn how to do layers. (even though I am afraid!)

Don’t be afraid. It’s a very flexible approach. You can toggle each layer on and off by clicking the eye on the left of the layer pallet. This way you can test if you are making things better or worse.
