Shot Notes
Ciao ai miei lettori italiani. I’m not sure why this blog has had more visits from Italy in the last month than any other country. Especially as I’ve never photographed Italy. All I can offer is this one of my Grandfathers Pictures which was taken in Duomo Square, Syracuse in 1926. I used Red Sepia Split Toning to add the colour.
LOVE the processing on this one.
I assume the focus blur is a function of the camera the picture was taken on? Is it possible to make it sharper or would the image degrade?
I have done a little sharpening. The problem with boosting the sharpness of images like this it also brings out all the dirt and scratches.
Great composition and processing. Well done!
